Victorian Health Department Grant

A few months ago the club applied for funding from the Victorian Department of Health for us to organise & provide 1st Aid and Sports training for our volunteers.

Janet attended a meeting/training session run by Good Sports Victoria who awarded the cheques on behalf of DOH to various sporting organisations on the Peninsula. For that round of funding we were the only successful soccer club.

The Club will communicate with all the managers and coaches early in the year to coordinate people to attend these courses, we hope to have one representative from each team undertaking 1st Aid training by March next year.
